7/11 Cabahug, Mandaue City
For this particular 7/11 store, it is a franchise store so we asked the owner what urged them to franchise 7/11. The owner shared that they were inspired when they went to korea and saw how much the foot traffic in the area, they were literally a lot of customers and there when they went back in the Philippines they directly visited the main office in Manila and ask for the requirements to franchise. Unfortunately their store was one of the most affected store in the area they temporarily closed the store for almost 6 months and almost gave up. And as of the moment they opened the store 2 months ago and their sales was not that bad also because of the current situation that despite the pandemic, the IATF confirmed the level 2 in which many people are now allowed to rome around
They started the store in the year 2017 and the sales were very smooth, they are hitting the target because the area is surrounded by hotels, gasoline station and some entertainment leisure but when the pandemic hits, all of their target market shut down so as their store. They almost permanently closed the store because of the situation considering the time that the pandemic consumed buy because they were still very eager to continue they participated with their marketing staffs and started some strategies such as customers can order online. They also has a hard time because of the store hours, because of the curfew the store hours were cut short so with their employees. But despite all of this they continue and slowly they were hoping that sooner or later everything will be back to normal
